This bed support both small and large (including heavy) rolls without any adjustments on top of Creality CR-10S Pro V2 (and propably others where there is a frame on top). Max roll width is about 10,5 cm as seen on 2.3 and 3 kg rolls.

Operation is smooth and with no filament spool in, it saves about 12 cm in printer height.

Just print 2 base plates and 2 cylinders and insert 4 bearings in the cylinders. Mount on the 4 taps to form a unit (glue can be used for additional strength but please adjust first). Then screw the unit on top of printer.

I got the bearings from the local car store (Biltema), dimension 26 mm outside, 10 mm inside and about 10 mm wide. Smaller would fit with a scaled cylinder (non uniform X and Y), but axle dimension with the tap can't just be scaled - sorry.

NOTE: the cylinders have holes for the bearings that are exactly 26 mm - print in X and Y scale 100.2 or 100.3% to fit bearing inside without *too much force* - depending on Your printer, filament a
