I love those little Roman style planter models by Qrome, but none of them quite had the form I wanted for my ironclad beetle terrarium, so when I saw this beautiful Escher planter with almost the exact features I wanted I knew what I had to do. I'm not very skilled with 3D modeling or experienced with FDM printing at the moment, but I'm very happy with what I got in the end. I replaced the tower roof with a Roman villa styled one, took a few bricks out of the siding for a bit of age, and added a little area underneath to give my beetle a bit more walking room. The new addition to the underside is supported by the Doric column model by MercedMike on Thingiverse. Painted with acrylics, using temporary faux plants and bio drain in the planters.
