I designed this to clip onto a 1.5 inch pole, to be able to quickly connect and disconnect a rope to it. Run the rope through the hole on the end and tie a knot in the end of the rope so it can't slip back through the hole. If you have a pole of a different diameter, you could simply scale this up accordingly to fit - or if you'd like to tweak the design directly, you can do so here in OnShape. I made this specifically to clip a rope I use for putting practice to my disc golf basket - I also made stakes to hold down the rope and mark putting distance. I think this design could likely be improved in order to reduce the need for supports - particularly those your slicer might try putting inside the long hole where the rope runs.
