DM: as you enter the cavern You hear the sounds of laughter and merriment A quick look toward the left side of the cavern reveals the guards on duty protecting the treasure playing cards and drinking. The right side is dark and full of dangerous looking stalagmite formations.
Rogue: Can I sneak around the right side in the dark and get to the treasure?
DM: Roll for stealth

DM: You successfully sneak to the darker part of the cavern. As you pass by one of the larger stalagmite formations you hear movement behind you. A tentacle wraps around your leg. Roll initiative.
