Please note that at this time the delta cannot be used as a pick and place. The effector platform twists depending on x-y coordinates, and there's no way to calibrate the nozzle offset from the camera. I'll update if I can figure out a way around that. Until then I wouldn't recommend doing this.
Conversion kit for a Rostock Max. This allows a Rostock Max style printer to serve part time duty as a PnP (Pick and Place) machine.
Only requires an additional stepper port, Heater2 port, two pwm fan ports, and an always on fan port. Rambo, Smoothie, Duet type boards should support this without having to disconnect any components.
Very easy to adapt to other larger format delta style printers as well.
I'll add in some basic instructions and a parts list soon.
