45 mm Rotary Blade Buffing Jig

To make this jig, you'll need the 3D-printed parts, green buffing compound, a small piece of leather, and glue to attach the leather to the 3D-printed part.

Use the "LeatherHolder" piece as a template to mark and cut the leather to the correct size. It’s recommended to use a thicker piece of leather to reduce the chance of the blade cutting into the printed part. Once the leather is cut, glue it to the 3D-printed part and rub some green buffing compound onto the leather.

Install the blade into the parts containing screw threads and rub the blade against the leather.

Regular buffing, especially with a quality blade, will help extend its lifespan.

The parts s.hown in the picture were printed with PETG, but PLA should work just fine as well.
