Kudos to miros for a great design. I wanted a more compact version that was easier to assemble so I developed this. Here are the changes:
1) Smaller base that uses less plastic
2) Fewer and deeper teeth on the gear wheel (makes triggering the switches more reliable and makes positioning them easier - there is a much larger sweet spot)
3) Anchor points for one side of the switch (with a larger sweet spot, I get good repeatability installing the switches by anchoring one end with a screw and then adjusting the other end into place before gluing)
4) Lower profile knob
5) Mount points for mounting the knob under a panel (larger version of the base)
Stl and scad files are included
