Rotary On/Off Indicator

This Rotary On/Off Indicator will be used in my RV to indicate when the water heater is on or off. (Gas water heaters only have a red reset light to indicate if the heater didn't start properly. Otherwise, when the switch is on there is no indication that the water heater is on. This can lead to wasting propane when the water heater is left on for extended periods when its not needed.)

This remix is the same size as the original (1.59" x 1.20" (40mm x 30mm)) although a detent feature has been added in place of the magnet. (This is being mounted on wood trim with double sided tape.)

The spindle has two detent grooves for the ball and spring to locate the knob in the correct position. A set screw in the knob secures the knob to the spindle.

I haven't decided what color to paint the words ON / OFF so I'm posting this unpainted.

The Spring is 1/2" long x 5/32" in diameter with 0.012" wire. The Ball is 5/32" in diameter, and
