Rotary Tool Rack

This is a wall mountable rack for the 160W HobbyKing Rotary Tool and the tool set. The lower shelf is for the cutting disks and the polishing paste. On the left side there is a cable manager and on the right side a holder for the removable micro light what comes with the tool.

Now I have printed a test version. It is the green rack on the picture. The rotary tool fits well in place and the cable is well managed. The holes are deep and tight enough to keep the tools more upwards. The lower shelf has a slot for the cutting disks.

The cable manager on the left side needs support on the build plate only.
To save material the backside has big recessed holes. Those need to be bridged about 15mm. The bridged and the supported faces are invisible when mounted on the wall.

I have used PLA for the test. You may want to use some tough material.

This thing is big, almost 20x20x25 cm so the whole print surface of the MK3 is needed.
