I was intrigued by AdditiveTech's Helical Gear Cups, but put off by the lengthy print time due to the complexity of the design. I decided to design my own little succulent planter pots that rotate as well - but not meshed together for simpler, faster printing.
Each pot has a space for a 608ZZ bearing in the base for easier rotating. It's a snug fit so it may need some persuading - and once it's in there, it probably isn't coming out. However, the rod on the base is a slightly looser fit so you can take the pots off and rearrange easily. The pots may feel loose without anything in them but with the weight of some soil or stones & a succulent in them they won't wobble.
The base features a channel which will hold any draining water or bits of soil and keep them away from the bearing. Being able to lift the pots off easily also helps in cleaning if necessary.
You can add as many of the middle base sections as you want. The fit is a little loose for easier adding/removing and clean
