Round bird feeder

This model is based on a real wooden bird feeder that we used to have in our garden. It was popular with small songbirds and difficult for larger birds, such as pigeons and magpies, to access. The model protects the birdseed from rain but does not prevent access. If water does get into the feeder, it will mostly drain out through small holes in the centre. Nevertheless, I recommend regularly changing the birdseed and cleaning the feeder to prevent mould growth. There is a small reservoir for rainwater or melted snow at the top, from which birds can drink. The reservoir's shape should withstand ice, but I still recommend placing one or two wooden or hollow plastic balls in the upper part to break up the ice. The entire feeder is designed for printing without supports. I recommend printing the roof from a darker material to help it absorb heat better in winter and facilitate the melting of snow on top. For greater durability in outdoor conditions, I recommend printing the entire feed
