This is a simple jig to assist in starting out a round chainmail weave like the Box Chain (http://www.mailleartisans.org/weaves/weavedisplay.php?key=12) or the RoundMaille (http://www.mailleartisans.org/weaves/weavedisplay.php?key=15).

As you can see in the picture, this is made for mounting three links (I use bread ties) through the holes, four rings (in two different sizes), or even six rings by "tying down" the "eye" between the rings to the three holes. So it is kinda versatile. I'm even including the Fusion 360 file so that you can do things like remove some of the holes, as I have done in the sample photo.

If you have any questions about making these weaves, the MailleArtisans links above are a great source. So is the "I Love Chain Maille" group on Facebook.
