Round Profile Drilling Help

Recently I had to drill a number of wooden round profiles with my drill press. Hitting the center of the profiles turned out to be quite difficult and time-consuming so I created this tool. The printed part is screwed to a piece of plywood. After centering the jig with the centering plug (Centering Help.stl) once I clamped it to the drilling table. This way the drill bit is always centered. Another stop block determined the position of the drilled hole. No more measuring was needed.


Since it's made of PLA I wouldn't recommend using it for drilling metal. In it's current design the jig can be used for drill bits up to 9.5 mm.
