This simple file is for a cheap, easy to make plastic sleeve so that you can store 1/4-inch router bits in cabinets/displays/racks meant for 1/2-inch router bits. Simply print to size (you may or may not need to adjust the print size in your slicer) so that it snuggly slides into a 1/2-inch bit receptacle and then you can slide a 1/4-inch bit in.
I made this file because I needed a large way to store my router bits and the only affordable unpopulated cabinet on the market was a 66-bit cabinet for 1/2" bits.
For bonus organization purposes you can get some clear water slide decal paper and print out the shape that the router bit cuts to apply to the wood next to where the specific bit will be stored.
