Router Gauge Set

This is 2 sets of gauge discs for setting bit depth on a router. Just stack up the appropriate discs to get the depth you desire. For a regular router, insert the bit into the chuck and place the router on the stacked gauge discs. Adjust the bit by lowering it until it touches the table.For a plunge router, insert and tighten the bit. Then place the router on the stack of selected gauge disks. Now push the router down till the bit touches the table then lock the router in that plunge position. Now the depth gauge of the router can be set. There are two sets of discs: metric (mm) and imperial (inches). Each set consists of 6 discs.For metric, the disc thicknesses are 0.75mm, 1.5mm, 3mm, 6mm, 12mm, 24mm. From the you can construct any depth up to 47.25mm in steps of 0.75mm.For imperial, the disc thicknesses are 1/32", 1/16", 1/8", ¼", ½", 1".
