This is a 3D model of a router plane designed in the early 20th century, originally patented by Edward Preston (now expired). I made this model using photographic references. Since hand planes often use pre-standard threads, I chose the following:
Collar tightening bolt: 1/4-20 x1
Mouth adjust bolt: 5/16-18 x1
Mouth adjust plate: 10-24 x2
Knob/blade adjust bolt: 1/4-28 x3
Fences: 10-24 x2
You will need to provide your own fasteners, height adjuster and blade.
I've recently updated the model based on some testing. The collar has been resized for a better fit, and a "diamond" version is included which supports Stanley and Veritas router blades. I've also included the left and right fences, which require 10-24 threading and a thumbscrew to hold to the router body through the large slots.
