I was driven to design this for one of my brothers step children. They want to join the UK RAF when old enough & become a helicopter pilot. Not being able to find anyting online I used a number of resources to design this in both Tinkercad & OpenSCAD for the 3d letters. I used bright white 5v LED strip inside & a 14mm rocker switch for the on/off.
