So I wanted to make use of my old Pi 1b, so I've come up with a case design, i was going to use it as a small LAMP server but alas, it hasnt got the muscle for it, so its now my backup nas.
The case covers the composite, 3.5mm jack and the HDMI port, but keeps the ethernet, usb power and SD slot open to keep things tidy, and ive also thrown in an opening in the top for a cheap 40mm 5V fan i got on amazon which i just plugged into the GPIO pins on the pi.
As for what holds it together, its M3 bolts and nuts. If you're in the UK, screwfix stocks the bolts and nuts i used. just a dab of superglue sticks the nuts into place. If youre printing this on an FDM printer, you probably wont need the nuts for the case, but i used the Elegoo mars 2 pro and it worked out pretty dang well.
I might add a wall mountable variant in the furture, let me know if you want one doing up.
The downloads include the top and bottom pieces as STL files, as well as the complete Sketchup 2017 model fil
