This puzzle is a version of the Face-turning Rhombic Dodecahedron, or "Rua" puzzle. The puzzle was originally presented by Matt Shepit in 2008. I designed this version to be printable on modern hobby 3D printers such as the Prusa i3 and Ender 3 models. The puzzle is quite small with an edge length of 43mm and a height of 57mm.
Supports are required, however the STLs are are oriented in such a way that the parts will require minimal post processing. Just snap off the support material and assemble :)
Turning is decent, but lockups are quite frequent. I may create a second version with a spring-loaded core and slightly tighter tolerances.
Parts list:
Core - 1x
Heli Center - 12x
Heli Edge - 24x
Rua 3F Corner - 8x
Rua 4F Corner - 6x
Rua Face - 24x
M3 x 12 SHCS - 12x
Enjoy! If you build one, please post a Make :D
