this is a twisty puzzle, easy to print and hard to solve.
When you turn the color segments by 1 step, the gears will turn by 1/2 step and the flip movement is blocked. If you need to turn the color segments by 1 step, turn -4 steps instead. Look, where the gears are going to.
You will need 2 set of center ( black, white), 5 set of gear and segment (each color).
Use 4 pieces of 3mm filament or pieces of M3 threaded rod. Glue in the holes of center parts, glue center parts together. When dry: At side there is a hole for the floppy rotation. Insert M3 nylock nut at one side, fill with segments, and complete with M3 screw.
Lubrificate with vaseline.
I have printed the normal sized version. It is 60mm diameter, 40mm height.
If you will have bigger, take the big version. It is the same, only upscaled by 150%.
spoiler to solve: do a color marking to each segment near the black center and no color
marking at the white center. note the colors.
