Rugged iPhone8 Case

Rugged hard case for iPhone8. For printing with hard plastic.

So, not crazy rugged, but there's two main features that make this more robust than a typical store bought case the first is the screen is inset into the case deeper than typical. There is about 1mm of plastic raised above the screen. As in, if your phone belly flops on its face there is ample plastic keeping the ground away from the screen. (The inspiration for this project is I keep braking my phone screens!!).

The other feature is the thickness of material around the perimeter is pretty thick 3mm as in if you drop your phone on the corner there is 3mm of malleable plastic to absorb the hit.

I went through 5 print iterations adjusting the fit and phone pop in details it's pretty dialed but FYI the fit is pretty critical especially regarding the buttons so make sure you have your printer dialed in and throw your best settings at it.
