This case is designed to be used with a PiFinder v2.5, an open source optical finder used to aim and control an amateur telescope. You can read the PiFinder documentation at the [PiFinder website](https://www.pifinder.io/).
While the PiFinder is an impressive device that has proven to be very useful under the stars, I was less than impressed by the design of the official 3D printed case. It is fragile and does not protect the electronics to the level I would expect for a device used in the field. I spent a couple enjoyable evenings designing a new case for my own use. It came out fairly well, may as well post it.
Versions are provided for a left or a right mounted camera, but no version has been done for the flat camera setup. The camera housing includes a flip up lens cover to protect the optics.
This case uses the same hardware as provided in the PiFinder kit, the same screws, threaded inserts, and standoffs. A 2mm x 22mm stainless steel pin is needed for the lens cove
