**Ruler Marking Gauge** (Boltless Design)
Here is a unique, fully 3D-printable marking gauge that clamps directly onto a standard ruler! This is a simple solution that requires zero additional bolts or nuts — just print the parts, assemble them, and it's ready to use.
The design utilizes an original eccentric clamp mechanism with an intermediate shoe for optimized and secure fastening. I haven't found a similar model across the internet, so I decided to design one myself.
Print Settings (Recommended):
- Material: PETG (durable and slightly flexible).
- Supports: From build plate only.
- Layer Height: 0.2 mm.
- Walls (Perimeters): 3.
- Infill: 10–20%.
Compatibility & Customization:
This specific model is designed for a ruler with dimensions 28.7 x 0.8 mm.
In the future, I plan to upload versions for standard sizes like 30mm, 25 mm, 20 mm, and 15 mm.
I will monitor the comments section for requests to customize the gauge for other specific ruler dimensions.
I would appreciate your feed
