Wild boars (Sus scrofa) are large, bristly-haired, omnivorous mammals native to Eurasia and North Africa, known as the ancestors of domestic pigs. These highly adaptable animals, weighing 66–272 kg, are characterized by their powerful, muscular necks, sharp tusks, and destructive digging behavior. Often nocturnal and fast, they can be dangerous.
