So my 2 year old Ryobi clone battery decided to "release" the holder clip, button on one side for no reason.
The plastic looks like it was just falling apart. I may have dropped it, broke it and didn't notice until later.
It broke and kept falling out but the battery was still going strong.
These have a 1 year warranty but seem to last longer.
I designed these buttons in TinkerCad and have included both the clone button and the Ryobi button in case you need them.
They are marked "R" and "C".
I have never had a problem with Ryobi buttons, just the clone but the changes were minimal.
The Clone Batteries are the ones shown in the pictures with the generic writing on the bottom of the base. Remove 4 #10 Torx security screws to replace.
