The Ryobi brushless stick vacuum has a flaw in the design for the wand. It relies on two small plastic tabs next to the power connectors to keep the wand stable. They tend to break off over time. When this happens the wand becomes more wobbly and can cause problems with the power connection to the vacuum head. I've designed a collar that fits around the connection to provide support and keep the wand stable. It can be used on both the upper and lower connection points, though I've only had issues with the upper connection. This is confirmed to work with both models PBLSV717 and PBLSV719. There are two screw holes that line up with two screws on the lower half of the connection. This is optional, but it helps keep the collar in place when attaching and detaching. You will need to replace them with longer screws to reach. I happened to have a broken spare vacuum head which has longer screws of the same type on the underside that I used. There are two plates with different fitment
