S.H.I.E.L.D.-old-school

The acronym originally stood for Supreme Headquarters, International Espionage, Law-Enforcement Division...
somebody REALLY wanted their initials to spell out Shield

I've already posted the current version but this is the version from the 70s and 80s when Nick fury was an old white guy with graying sideburns and always smoking a big cigar,
although I did notice this version in the background
of one scene of the trailer for the new Shield TV series
there may be some more variations on the theme later

any comments plus or minus greatly appreciated
( how am I going to know when I screw up if nobody tells me? )
