S6 Emblem Hex Print

🔧 Print Profile: Morale Patch EmblemThis project began as a high-resolution PNG of a morale patch and was transformed into a striking 3D emblem through a multi-step digital process.🖼️ First, I converted the PNG into an SVG file using an AI-powered vector conversion tool.📥 Then I imported the SVG into Fusion 360 using the Insert SVG function, scaled and positioned it on a sketch plane, and extruded the design into 3D geometry.🔷 To create the emblem’s structure, I used the Polygon tool to sketch equal hexagons. These were patterned and scaled to fit the build volume, then used to cut the extruded solid into modular segments.🕒 The full print took around 60 hours, with each hexagonal piece printed separately and assembled onto a sheet of plexiglass.💡 Finally, I added LED strips around the perimeter for a glowing, high-impact finish.This emblem is a fusion of digital design and hands-on fabrication—perfect for makers looking to push their creative boundaries.
