Safety Latch Extender

This child safety latch extender block can work on both left-side and right-side cabinet doors. It allows the door to open about one more inch (25mm) so you can get your finger in there to push down the latch.

There are four pilot holes for mounting the latch to the extender block. Use whichever pair is in the correct orientation after the block is mounted to the door.

The block has a small offset to fit into the inside corner of the frame. The block-mounting holes have a sacrificial bridge layer for easy printing. Just drive your screw right through that layer.

Print face-down as shown in the screenshot. No supports needed.
