I needed to put a safety-switch on my home-made drum-sander. I had a safety-switch panel laying around so i though it would be best to print a super-strong housing so i can mount it properly to my sander.

The model is printed a few times and tested so it is strong enough to handle quite a bit of force. The switch itself is bought of e-bay and supports both 1- and 3-phase motors.
To make the switch-housing a great product a did the following:
•Made the whole part 3 mm thick and really sturdy
•Rounded over all corners to avoid the part to crack
•Added holes for PG-25 strain reliefs and placed them so the nuts on the backside secure themselves
• Added well planned supports to take the stress away from both the top where the switch is secured and from the strain-relieves
•5 mm mounting-holes placed so you only need 2 screws to hold both the switch and the housing in place.
