After I decided to use IKEA Samla boxes (22L) to store my filament and created my own silica container, I saw some nice remixes, like this. So redesigned my silica container to improve some things:shorten the lower part to save filament (now it's around 60g filament per container)retractable lid to ensure secure closure when in useholes instead of slots for better stability even with thinner wallsthinner walls (1.2mm) for faster printslarger interior for around 10% more spaceThe rest is still the same… They are stackable an can keep 4 to 6 filament spools (depends on the spool width). Each silica container can now hold up to 250g of silica gel (2 containers = 500g, 4 containers = 1000g). You need 4 of them to fill a whole Samla box, but I decided to fill up only 2 with silica gel. My test Samla box hold up 4 spools at 10% humidity for months now. The parts are printed in PLA with standard quality (0.20mm layer height, 15% infill). I printed pairs of the container.
