I wanted a quick and easy way to carry samples of the different filaments I have available. Maker coins are nice, but they are bulky and don't conveniently fit in a pocket. I designed a small key-fob sized tag that I could quickly print (under 10 minutes per tag), wouldn't use a lot of material (cost of each tag is about $0.03), and still be durable enough to deal with rough handling. These tiles will be put on a ball chain (like used for dog tags) for easy carrying, and addition of new tiles when more materials are purchased.

Since I have multiples of some colors, and some are hard to tell apart, I also included some debossed lettering to help know which filament the tag represented.

I provide the STL of the plain tag in the hopes that some will find it useful, but I encourage you to consider this idea as thought provoking. I'm hoping you will open up your design software and make your own tags.
