I previously printed some "ball & socket" type mounts for my SmartThings motion sensors around my house but after a few weeks they loosened up and would not hold the sensor in position. I want a simple low profile mount that easily allows me to swivel and remove the sensors to change batteries, so I didn't want anything that required tools. These are a fixed downward angle so I have one t around 78 degrees and another at about 72 degrees that I just eyeballed for position. I may add another at a lower angle yet for those that want it to point down a bit further yet. They can rotate 360 degrees around the base.

I used a double sided adhesive foam tape to mount the base to the ceiling and the other half fits onto the sensor using the keyhole mount on the back, with just enough play to level out the sensor. I imagine it could be used with other keyhole based products as well, if they are light enough.

Each mount uses two 12x3mm magnets that I got very cheap from the local big box.
