Linear rails in the Sapphire Pro, Plus and probably S are **not cleaned and lubed** after machining. They are covered by some kind of oil or petroleum which protect them from rust. You **should clean and lube them** if You want from them **the best performance**. Properly cleaned and lubed chinese linear rails provide **better surface finish**.

##Cleaning process in a few steps:
1. Remove the rails from the printer.
2. Take the carriage out from the rail. Be careful! Little steel balls may pop out at this point.
3. Unscrew all the parts from the carriage.
4. Put all the parts in isopropyl alcohol.
5. Clean the rails with paper towel soaked in isopropyl alcohol. Pay attention to surfaces on which the balls are moving.
