This is a modular rack-mount case designed for the SC Series retro computers published by Small Computer Central.
The design is compatible with the 5" portable rack system created by The DIY Life:
https://the-diy-life.com/i-built-a-5-portable-raspberry-pi-homelab/
The original top cover and base plate from that system can also be used with this design.
The rack frame dimensions and mounting style are compatible with the original system, but all front and rear panels were newly designed for SC Series retro computer configurations.
To reduce overall height and improve flexibility, several new top panel variations were created:
- Honeycomb style
- Frog Design-inspired style
- Minimal frame-only style
By changing the front and rear panels, the same chassis can support a variety of SC Series / RCBus system configurations and expansions.
Vertical_Post parts are available in sizes from 1U to 5U.
Additional custom Vertical_Post versions are also included, allowing direct use of M3 screws
