Scalable Double Cable Clip

Sick of opening a drawer and pulling out a giant knot of wires? I designed this simple cable clip to finally fix this problem. Description: It’s a two-part snap-fit design. You just loop your cable to the desired diameter, squish, place it in one half and click the other half on top. The ridges prevent the clip from disengagement. The design also allows to use the cable in a short version while bundled, by pulling the plugs bidirectional, optimally. Prep: I suggest to slightly bend the cantilever snaps outwards and “train” the clip a few times before inserting a cable. If you have problems to open the clip, insert a screwdriver or something similar to push the parts apart. Higher scaling means more resistance. 3mf: The .3mf contains the model in 3 sizes. For the pictures I used the 130% scaling with a 2m USB-Cable. The 170% scaled version works great for 1,5m cold appliance cables. Feel free to play with the infill to make the cantilever snaps more stretchy.
