This protects the plastic knob on a Schiit Fulla 2 DAC. Dropping this DAC can result in the knob and potentiometer becoming apart from the board.
This part is designed to protect the knob while not using a lot of filament. Simply align the inner notches with the first hole on the side of the DAC case. The other side can then snap into place. When removing the Protector, it is designed not to hit the knob. The knob can still be used while in place through the center.
Bonus tip: A second protector will fit toward the back for extra protection.
