Schneider CA1

Manufactured by the Schneider et Cie society for World War I, after World War I, six of them were sold to Spain in 1921; between 1923 to 1926 they were used during the War of the Rif, being destined in Morocco until 1929, when the survivors were transferred to the Peninsula. Of the four survivors featured in the Central Shooting School in Camp, Madrid; three of them were used in combat at the beginning of the Spanish Civil War by the government side; One was sent to attack the Cuartel de la Montaña, two cars were also sent to participate in the siege of the Alcázar de Toledo, in which one was destroyed and the other returned to Madrid. The only surviving vehicle is preserved at the Musée des Blindés in Saumur, and it is also the oldest tank in the world in working order.
