This is a simple 1:54 (Or bigger if you wish) model of the Schweizer SGS 2-33A Glider. The model was originally designed to be used as a training aid for the flight instructors at the Comox Cadet Flying Training Centre and now I am making it available to anyone with a 3D printer. The model includes a longitudinal hole in the tail section to put a metal rod so an instructor can demonstrate flight manoeuvres without touching the model. The original metal rod was an aileron hinge pin from the actual glider (2.75mm diameter). You can also get something close going to a dollar store and buying a dish rack to cut rods from.
I've only included the left wing so to get the right you just need to mirror it in your printing program of choice. The strut file is symmetrical so you can just print two of them. The fit of all the parts is a little tight so you might need to sand them a bit. You can superglue the model together with the correct dihedral.
