How to make a Screen Door Closer
You will also need:
1. A empty roll from a 40 Sq Ft of Aluminum Foil 1 1/4 inch (32.5 mm) that I got from the Dollar Tree. Cut to about 9 inches (228.6 mm) long.
2. One 3/8 inch (9.525 mm) wood dowel by about 9 1/8 or 1/4 inches (231.775 mm) long. (Home Depot)
3. Four Springs - Extension Springs 10PCS Y Type Spring 304 Stainless Steel Pressure Spring Wire; Dia 1.0mm, Outer Dia 14mm, Length 50mm (Aliexpress.com, Amazon.com,)
4. A large paper clip used for holding the rod cap in place. I found out that Elmer's glue will not hold.
I used Elmer's glue on the end caps and on the rod plunger.
