The original design is from MortenGuldager http://thingiverse.com/thing:2920911. I made one and filled it up pretty quick. i did not want to have several of these bit cases laying about, so I set out to increase the capacity instead.
I have only had my printer since September and just learned how to use TinkerCAD to bind the bottom of the case to the top of the lid which becomes the new lid. You still need the original lid for the top of what I call the "Doubler" adapter.
This remix creates an issue with how supports are done as the underside of the lid now needs to be supported. I discovered Meshmixer via Google/YouTube and created customized tree supports in an attempt to minimize print time and wasted filament.
WARNING: You have to be careful with the supports so that your inside threads do not junked up with left over support left overs, which is why I am including an STL with the supports included.
