Unlike older laptops, SD cards don't fully insert into most newer models. This means you need to remove the card for safe storage and travel. This project is an effort to mitigate some of the risk by fitting a bumper over the portion of the card that sticks out. Two memory card slots are given since some laptops mount from the top, while others mount towards the bottom. I make no guarantees this will protect your card or laptop.
