SD Card Extension / Adapter Frame Mount

This is a simple slide in mount for attaching a SD (not micro-SD) card extender / Adapter to the upper frame of the Anet A8 3D printer.

It attaches with the SD card slot facing front, using the two M3 screws securing the top left corner brace to the upper horizontal brace.

The extension adapter I'm using has a short 23Cm ribbon cable, and it reaches the Anet's mainboard in its factory configuration, with some length to spare.

I printed mine with 100% infill, open side down, with supports touching bed, and a support density of 5%. There may be better ways to print this, but I was in a hurry because my SD adapter was previously only secured by a piece of painters tape...
