Sea Heart

This Lithophane is the first one I have ever created. I used the ‘Make a Lithophane’ page in MakerWorld to guide my efforts. I used a .04 nozzle and printed the lithophane laying flat. I had found information saying a .02 nozzle and printing vertical would provide more resolution and better light transmission. However, after slicing in both setups I chose to use .04 and flat because the printing time would ONLY be 12 hr. and 8 min. compared to the .02 and vertial choice which reported over 5 days! The cost difference in materials was ~$2.50 vs. ~$45.00! I still don't know if I believe that, but I was not willing to travel that route on my first lithophane print to find out…
