Seed starting root trainer kit

There are a few root training kits for sale that cost way more than they should so I designed this one for my own needs. This will allow you to start seeds and have them self-prune their roots to create long, strong root systems that reach deeper into the soil for nutrients. You can see from my 2nd picture a 3-week old bean plant is pushing roots out the gaps and they're air-pruning. This is a good thing for creating healthy plants. The trays have a watering spout on the front for bottom watering after the seedlings are established. This will be especially useful for tomatoes as they're quite tall and will force the tomato roots to go deep! No need to transplant seedling tomatoes into a larger container.
