SELF ATTACHING MOUNTING BRACKET FOR SQUARE SECTION TUBE

This bracket will attach itself to a square section tube, like a tent leg or fence post. It relies on friction.

It was originally built as a mount for a wi-fi antenna that has a magnetic base, hence the washer at the top of the mast. I have included the Rhino file so you may modify it for your application. The Rhino includes the various design iterations - an earlier version may better suit your use.

Make sure you are you are mindful of the weight of whatever you attach to it. The locking mechanism is strong but the plastic isn't. It will break before the bracket slips most times.
