Self-Deploying Fully Printed Tripod. This tripod requires no hardware to print. It has two body options: threaded and smooth, and can be printed with or without the leg extensions (for a smaller form factor). To assemble simply snap the legs into the body. If you want it to self-deploy, put the flat end of the extensions into the legs, and the round end of the extensions into the hub. That's it! Simply set it down to deploy, and pick it up to retract. If you want to lock it open, push the hub up by hand. Print with tree supports at 30 degrees, you want them for the pins, but not for the threads. The threads are designed for a standard broom handle of 5 threads per inch at ¾: diameter. The smooth option is 1" diameter, and fits the other end of a standard broom handle.
