How to make it self-watering You need a small piece of a cloth or rag. Preferably something that absorbs water well, like cotton rag or something. In my case this was a small cotton towel that I've ordered in bulk a while ago to clean my place. Cut a piece of cloth about 5cm wide that will fit into the holes on both sides and long enough so it will touch the base with water after you put two pieces together (as shown in the pictures below). This works pretty much like a good old method of placing a bowl of water next to your plant and "connecting" it with a piece of paper towel. The cloth will absorb the water that will be then soaked up by plant whenever our little green friend needs it. The size should allow the plant to survive a couple of days without active watering - perfect for whenever you go abroad/on holidays and don't need to bother anyone to water your plants during that time. Print Settings 0.26 layer height Seam position BACK Supports: NORMAL Base without a gasket requires no supports. Style SNUG Top Z Distance 0.275 Preferably more than 2 walls so the light doesn't shine through.. GASKET HAS TO BE MADE WITH TPU - otherwise use a standard (Self Watering Pot Stand) version CAUTION Model is only for a display purposes. Any contact with food and/or water should be taken at your own risk. Please ensure your safety beforehand by making sure your filament is food/plant safe before using it in any other way than for display. Printed with: Pot - eSUN PLA+ Bone White; Stand - JAYO WOOD/Wood v1.1 - remade the whole pot for the ease of printing by eliminating any curves on the bottom side of the pot; v1.2 - added a non-slip gasket version of a pot stand;
