Based on a planter design on Prusa’s website, I designed my own version of a self-watering planter with a watering level. I improved on some of the faults I saw in their design. Just over 75 hours of printing and all PLA (PETG would be smart for outside use). So far, everything has worked as intended and it all fits snug!
The reservoir was printed with 0.15mm layer thickness, 105 flow rate, and only left 2 perimeter layers and it’s been watertight for 48+ hours now. Next time, I would recommend doing 3+ perimeters to be safe. Printed the inside (no need to be watertight) with 0.3mm layer height for speed.
