Foster Early Numeracy Through Tactile Open-PlayI developed the Number Learning System as a teaching aid for my son. In collaboration with a Special Education Specialist, we designed this system to be expandable, open-ended and to support endless learning activities. Rooted in Montessori principles, this system encourages child-led discovery reinforcing Numbers, Patterns, Counting, Ordering, Fine Motor Skills/Dexterity, Critical Thinking and Play. Whether used in a professional classroom or at home, the open-ended design allows the tray to be used in infinitely configurations in combinations with other resources.
